  • Why are you a Castaway? I love to support the cause and contribute as much as I can.

  • What is your "essential gear" to be a good Castaway? For cycling, it was very essential to have the cars along for the ride filled with nutrition and hydration. Obviously, a good bike makes the trip more enjoyable.

  • Tell us about your Family: I have a wife and two kids. They are 2 and 4 and love to be outside and active.

  • Favorite music/artists: I love all types of music. Not picky. ,

  • Favorite movies/genre: Love comedy and documentary. Love watching documentaries about outdoor adventures.

  • Favorite books: The books I read to my kids

  • Personal Fun Fact: Plant-Based and work with doctors, physicians, and educators to teach about prevention and reversal of chronic western diseases. Heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases are all linked to diet and nutrition. Stoping these diseases starts with what’s on the end of our fork.

  • How have I helped carry out the CAC mission of funding cancer research and honoring those who have fought the fight? I lost my father to cancer and since then I have spent a lot of my time learning about disease prevention. I would love to help provide insight and potentially have medical professionals I work with getting involved to help provide valuable information about the link between diet and lifestyle and cancer.
